Overwatch League season 6 is just around the corner, officially beginning with the Spring Stage Qualifiers on April 27. Florida Mayhem is riding fresh off the back of their victory in the Pro-Am, a pre-season competitive tournament that allowed some amateur teams from open qualifiers to dip their toes in the professional scene.
Here's everything you need to know about the upcoming Overwatch League 2023 Spring Stage, including all 19 competing teams and the qualifiers schedule.
Overwatch League 2023: Overall Schedule
OWL Season 6 is the first year where the competitive season will be split into two: the Spring and Summer Stages, anchored by two LAN events: Midseason Madness Global Tournament and the Grand Finals.
The teams will remain divided into East and West regions, with the East featuring a more open ecosystem allowing smaller Overwatch Contenders teams to compete.
- Pro-Am Tournament (West only): March 23 - April 9
- Spring Stage (Opens, Qualifiers, Knockouts): April 27 - June 6
- Midseason Madness: June TBA
- Summer Stage (Opens, Qualifiers, Knockouts): July TBA

Overwatch League 2023: Spring Stage Format
The regular season of Overwatch League 2023 circuit play will begin on April 27, with the Qualifiers. All matches for the Qualifiers stage will be played online in a round-robin format and end on May 28.
All six East region teams will automatically qualify for the Spring Stage Knockouts. The top teams from the West region will qualify, though the exact number of West teams is yet TBA.
Overwatch League 2023: Teams
There will be nineteen Overwatch League teams competing in the Spring Stage Qualifiers as they fight for a spot in the Spring Stage Knockouts on May 20.
The Knockouts stage decides which OWL teams will advance to the Midseason Madness global tournament. East region team Chengdu Hunters will not compete in the Spring Stage as they reportedly contemplate the "future direction" for their team.
