Face the might of the Gods in Overwatch 2's limited-time Arcade event, Battle for Olympus! This game mode features a variety of all your favorite heroes, decked out with godly powers and Greek mythology-inspired outfits.
From Poseidon Ramattra to Medusa Widowmaker, leap into the fray and adorn the mantle of the gods in Battle of the Olympus, starting on May 23 and running until May 29.
Battle For Olympus Gameplay
Battle for Olympus is an 8-player free-for-all Deathmatch to 20 kills, with a 10-minute time limit. A Team free-for-all Deathmatch mode will also be available, with two teams of 4v4.
Seven specific heroes get to experience the divine power of the gods, gaining special powers not seen in regular Overwatch unranked and ranked games.
Players must charge up their Divine Ultimates the same way they would charge their Ultimate in regular game modes, by dealing damage, getting kills, or healing themselves.
May 23 marks the second time the Battle for Olympus limited-time event has been released, with the first being in January in Overwatch 2 Season 2.
Battle For Olympus Map Pool
Each map in the Battle for Olympus map pool has several power pickups dotted around, which grant the player +15, stacking to +120 overhealth and bonus Ultimate charge.
These four maps are on rotation for the Battle of Olympus event due to their architectural aesthetics fitting with the Greek mythology theme.
- Chateau Gulliard
- Coloesseo
- Ilios Ruins
- Petra
The best-performing hero with the most kills will get a special statue in the center of the Ilios Ruins to commemorate and immortalize their victory. Junker Queen topped global leaderboards when Battle for Olympus was first released.
