BLAST.tv will unleash their next electrifying event series featuring the world's top CS:GO talents, at the BLAST.tv Paris Major 2023, starting on May 8.

Fans will be on their edge of their seats watching some of the most intense Counter-Strike matches played on the old engine before the highly anticipated arrival of CS2 this summer. This event promises to have an electric atmosphere, with a staggering prize pool of $1,250,000 up for grabs, as well as an automatic invitation to IEM Cologne 2023 and BLAST Premier World Final at stake.

BLAST.tv Paris Major 2023: Format

There are three stages for the BLAST.tv Paris Major championship, following the format introduced by Valve in 2018.

  • Challengers Stage - May 8 - 11

The Paris Major will begin with the Challengers Stage and a 16-team Swiss System format between the Challengers and Contenders teams. Elimination and advancement matches will be best of three, while all other games are best of one.

The top eight teams advance to the next stage, eliminating the bottom eight teams.

  • Legends Stage - May 13 - 16

The Legends Stage will feature another 16-team Swiss System format, as the winning eight teams from the previous stage and the eight Legends teams come to blows. Every game will follow the same format as the Challengers Stage.

The top eight teams from the Legends stage proceed to the Champions stage

  • Champions Stage - May 18 - 21

Eight teams fight for the crown. All matches are played as best of three in a single-elimination bracket.

BLAST.tv Paris Major: Venue and streams

The venue for this year's Paris Major is the Accor Arena in Paris, France. Tickets are on sale here, starting at 35€, but grab them quickly; they're sure to sell out as the event draws nearer.
