Ahri, the League of Legends superstar! She's like the OG influencer of the Rift, dropping into the scene and released back in 2011 and still a popular pick. Not just a pretty face; Ahri is a powerful Vastayan mage, able to burst down enemies with chained abilities during team fights.
Ahri's skill order should be Q > W > E and then R whenever available. Orb of Deception (Q) should always be maxed out first to maximize Ahri's laning potential and to poke down the enemy champion in her lane whenever possible.
After killing nine minions or monsters, Ahri self-heals. After enemy takedowns, Ahri heals for a greater amount from any ability.
Ahri sends out and automatically pulls back her Orb of Deception, dealing magic damage on the way out, changing to true damage on the way back to Ahri.
Ahri briefly gets a burst of Movement Speed, releasing three fox-fires projectiles, locking onto and attack nearby enemies.
In a target direction, Ahri blows a kiss that damages and charms the first enemy it hits, instantly stopping movement abilities and causing them to walk harmlessly in her direction.
Upon recasting, Ahri dashes forward and fires essence bolts, damaging nearby enemies. Her Ultimate, Spirit Rush, has three casts before going on cooldown. Ahri can gain additional Spirit Rush recasts after taking down enemy champions.
Ahri Middle is the most common position for the foxy mage, as she's currently ranked B-tier on our overall LoL tier list. Her win rate with this Ahri build is 52.1% as of patch 13.24, making it clear that this fox means business!
First, start Domination as your primary keystone, going down the route of Electrocute, Taste of Blood, Eyeball Collection, and Ultimate Hunter, for extra burst damage and self-sustain. For the secondary runes, go down the path of Inspiration, choosing Manaflow Band and Scorch. Zombie Ward is a less common pick but helpful if you often roam to help other lanes.
To finish off with stat mods, go for Adaptive Force x2. The final one depends on who your opponent is in mid-lane, going for Armor Scaling against an AD champion or Magic Resistance scaling against an AP mage. Choose Health Scaling for a middle ground.
For Summoner Spells, Flash is a must to make sure you have a last-ditch escape to get away from enemies. For your second, you have the options of three Summoner Spells: Ignite, Teleport, or Barrier.
Learning counters and matchups is essential when playing League of Legends, so you know to play safe or if you have the freedom to bully an opponent. Ahri counters include Irelia, Fizz, Akshan, Syndra, Yasuo, and Twisted Fate, to name a few. These counters are universal across all ranks, so if you see these picks on the enemy team, consider abandoning the Ahri pick for another game.
Since ARAM is literally "All Random, All Mid," you have no control over when you'll score Ahri as your chosen champion. If you get her, you're in luck! Her ARAM win rate is 51.4%, making her a solid champion.
For her ARAM build, the Ahri runes slightly differ from her regular build for Mid. Most Ahri players on ARAM choose Domination as their main rune, picking Electrocute, Sudden Impact, Eyeball Collection, and Ultimate Hunter for the best possible damage output. Sorcery should be her secondary rune, with Manaflow Band, Transcendence, x2 Adaptive Force, and Health Scaling. The extra ability haste helps so that Ahri can throw her abilities like Orb of Deception more often for max poke.
Ahri, the enchanting fox spirit, is not just a one-outfit wonder- she's got an entire wardrobe of skins waiting for you to buy, some of which are the best in the game.
Most of Ahri's skins are still available in the shop at the mere cost of some Riot Points (RP). If you want to slay Summoner's Rift like your own personal runway, here's the price list of all available her skins.
That was our complete guide to Ahri in League of Legends, including her best builds for middle and ARAM. In the right hands, Ahri is an absolute powerhouse, capable of taking down a whole team independently (provided you land her skill shots).
