The 32nd SEA Games are just around the corner, with the host country for this year's event being Cambodia in the NABA Theatre and the Olympia Mall in Phnom Penh, the capital city. Like the Olympics, the SEA Games are designed to showcase each country's strengths as athletes of different calibers and skill sets come together to determine the strongest region in Southeast Asia.
The SEA Games don't just have traditional sports; there are even competitions for esports titles like Mobile Legends: Bang Bang, with women's and men's divisions.

The Southeast Asian Games is a biennial sports event with eleven participating regions. It hosts a wide array of events, from traditional sports like soccer and aquatics to online games. This marks the third year since esports' inclusion in the event, with esports titles like LoL Wild Rift, Valorant, and Mobile Legends.
The exact format for the MLBB matches in the 32nd Southeast Asia Games is yet to be announced, but this will be updated with more information as soon as it is released. All matches will be live-streamed on the official Mobile Legends YouTube channel, embedded below.
Nine teams compete in the men's tournament, while only six regions participate in the women's division. Both are composed of individually selected players who made it through qualifying games in their home region.
The Philippines are dominating the Mobile Legends scene, having won the gold medal at the 2021 SEA Games. Their professional leagues like MDL and MPL are rapidly gaining in traction, and producing next-gen pro players. Some of their rosters comes from MPL PH team, Bren Esports, like the duo FlapTzy and KyleTzy

Indonesia is another powerhouse country for MLBB, as they won the silver medal at the 31st SEA Games. Their player roster consists of several players from the previous event and some players from pro teams like ONIC Esports and EVOS Legends.
